What is the tech stack of Kinopio?

I know some :sweat_smile:

  • Vue
  • Hosted on Netlify and Heroku
  • Looks like MongoDB but not sure

since I switched to the upgrade mode and use more and more Kinopio I was wondering the same thing :slight_smile:
btw I am more MongoDB club than Postgres :stuck_out_tongue:

hey allah, hopefully the blog post mentioned above answers your questions. Let me know if anything else.

I used MongoDB for a sideproject years before starting kinopio, I liked how quick it was to start using but I ran into some headaches when I needed relational data. Was def doable but felt like it was harder to use the bigger your data got. Undoubtedly it’s way better now though :slight_smile:
