Use a lighter color for the highlight when the user color is too aggressive

When I have a profile color such as black, highlitghted selections are black.

fix released, tested against both ‘black’ and ‘white’ user colors. basically if the user color too light or dark, the paint select color on images/video cards will be darkened or lightened a bit for legibility
