This is almost a cosmetic problem but I wanted to mention it in case it is a symptom of something deeper (because also this was a symptom of the case in Firefox where we were losing data).
I navigated to an open space, and I got the lower-left banner saying welcome to Kinopio. No obvious errors in the console. I’m clearly logged in.
are you seeing any of the other issues associated with that ff bug: eg cards not saving?
I have not seen any issues related to that bug. I meant to say, the bug I’m reporting here occurs in Edge.
this is now fixed as part of Firefox silently fails to save to localStorage - #38 by pirijan .
in the case of saving errors to the local storage cache you’ll get that error notification instead of the new user one
