Make background of boxes inside boxes appear in front

I’d really like if the box background if boxes that are inside another one would appear before the bigger box’s background by default. Right now i have to play around with locking, and it only works if the outer box has an image set, not the default transparent color fill.

This is still an issue, and quite annoying, since I can’t lock cards that are inside a box with a background image set, because they just disappear behind it. Locking the box doesn’t help most of the time either.
