I dont know how hard it is to implement, but somewhere at the start of this thread I wrote an idea for tinting the background when the box is set to having a background fill. I think it would be a cool addition (and would make that toggle do something when a background is set)

also, box bg could/should be faded when the box is checked off

it was actually much easier to have the background appear below the box, thus being affected by the box color. But for the use cases provided here, it seems like there wasn’t a case where someone would want the box background to be tinted? Is that incorrect?

Also if 99% of ppl will want a non-tinted background, I wasn’t sure it would be intuitive to have to click the empty box button to make the background untinted?

could just hide the scroll bar or make it a bit wider so it fits

It’s a system preference so I don’t think I can . But even if I could I’m not sure I’d want to because having scroll bars is an active choice the user made

Looks like when a box with background is clicked in the minimap, the teal highlight permanently colors the background of the box (not just the flashing outline) until it’s deselected. Does not happen for boxes with background colors, just background images.

when i click the box minimap, the focusing highlight is not permanent: it goes away when the space is interacted with (e.g. the box is clicked)
