Groups! I have a ton of spaces and the drop-down list has always given me hives with how messy it ends up being, regardless of the current sort options. (updated/created/alphabetical are all too messy still!) I eagerly dove into giving all of my spaces groups in hopes that would help with organization, but now I desperately need two features:
One, a sort option that lets me sort by group. My general thought is that group sort should be alphabetical, act like a toggle, and let the user choose updated/created/alphabetical still which applies to the spaces inside the group. (Maybe itās a āGroup by: Groupsā type button? operating similar to how windows explorer / mac finder let you show lists in āgroupsā based on file type/other stuff.)
That could be complicated though so at its most simplest Iād love an additional button alongside updated/created/alphabetical called āGroupsā that sorts groups alphabetically and the spaces within each group alphabetically as well. then my hives can be gone forever!
Two, Iād love a way to filter on NOT a group - so that if Iām doing personal things, I can filter all of my Work-group spaces out of the list and only see my personal spaces. Maybe this could be a little button at the right side of the group name in the filter list with the 
icon and when you click that, the grouped spaces hide/filter out of the list? (being able to select multiple groups to filter out multiple would be ideal, too.)
In the meantime, filtering down to a single group is a huge benefit to making the space list feel much more organized, less messy, and less overwhelming/more focused. Thanks for rolling it out!
