Consider displaying the number of how many times a connection was used

Brainstorming: What if you displayed the number how many times a specific connection was used? This could help with the orientation.

I can’t speak to orientation, but having the number a) gives you a good summary of how the space is being used i.e. I’ve made 7 “happy” connections and 2 “grumpy” connections, but also b) in spaces with multiple connections that haven’t been named and/or colors are similar to where it’s maybe a bit difficult to distinguish quickly, the number would help give you another data point to give a better sense of which is which when changing a connection and/or starting to name, rather than guesstimating which is which on color and alone.
