Brainstorming: Highlight connections on hover?

Now, connections to one cell are slightly highlighted, when we click on it.
What if they were highlighted also when hovering over a cell? (Optional feature.)

Interesting solution. Not bad. Just asking: why did you decide to highlight the circle instead of connection lines themselves?

Even when connection lines are thickened like they do on hover, they don’t stand out too much esp on busy backgrounds
