The problem with the box is that it does not appear immediately after I create it, but after some time. If I start dragging it before it has appeared, the cursor ‘runs away’ beyond the box’s boundaries.

In the Edge browser, the problem appears immediately
On vivaldi browser the first box was created properly, but right after that, the problem returned
On Kinopio Windows app its same as vivaldi
I’m using a laptop without a dedicated graphics card (only integrated graphics). Could this be affecting box performance? The processor is an Intel i5 10th generation.
asked on discord if other windows users can repro: Discord
from discord: win chromium only
what happens if you drag to resize an older box? same thing?
if you drag slowly, does the box size catch up to your cursor pos?
I see a connection now—when I created a few cards in Brave and they started lagging, the boxes also began to create incorrectly, just like in Edge.
At first brave was perfect
Same on zen (mozilla) after some time creating and moving cards the box problem appeared
Dragging slowly vid
I tried two methods:
- I immediately dragged the mouse.
- I waited for the box to be created and then started dragging.

Vid of possible confirmation that this is related to overall performance:
I opened Kinopio in private mode, and the first box in Edge was perfect. Each new one worsened the situation.
