An option to randomize background with every new space

I am not always really creative and to have an option to randomize the background could lead to nice surprises :).

random images or colors? In both cases though this feels like a cool idea for someone to build using the api: basically get a list of new spaces without a background or color set and PATCH them with a new bk/tint-color

i’ve wanted this as well. what I would want is that whenever i create a new space, the system selects a random background for me.

naively, it could select by random one of the built-in backgrounds, but if you want to get more sophisticated and require more UI, that might not be worth it (like define the set of random backgrounds, choose other backgrounds, etc)

Exactly, I am sometimes lazy and not creative. It would be a nice thing to get some inspiration by getting a random background :).
