All backgrounds — in both old and new spaces — have disappeared.
Changing the background doesn’t do anything.
you may have a black tint background set? do you see this in any public spaces that you could share a link to?
if you set tint to ‘transparent’ does that do anything?
Yes, when I clicked on a tint, the background appeared.
However, new spaces now come without a tint — which means no background.

for me bug is still here
I think the issue is that the default tint values are currently empty.
If I click the “X” (remove) next to the RGB values, the background turns black — just like it is now.
try it again, the fix just released actually
