V Good example
I think perhaps we donât need to add a listname to the list, since we already have first-level and second-level headings. When listing cards, one of them could simply be a title card. (Maybe we could add some extra operations to this title card, but itâs not very important.)
Additionally, I hope that when listing cards into a list, it would be better to add some extra key presses (e.g., Ctrl?). Adjusting the position of cards and creating some overlap is, I think, a common operation, and being too automated might actually reduce this flexibility. (For touch screens, perhaps a long press could trigger it?) (If merging a card into a card list, this extra operation wouldnât be necessary.)
That makes sense. Iâd like to hear from others whether lists should have names for their own use cases. The status quo with Kanban lists is that they have titles but Kinopio may be a different context as you say.
Re:overlap the way snapping works is that it detects when a card edge is either 10 px below or 10px above the adjacent edge of another card. But more overlapping like if a card is 20 px or more wonât trigger snapping, so you will still be able to overlap cards. Let me know more about how you overlap tho
the way iâm thinking about list names right now is that they wonât have names by default, but you can optionally add a name to the list. This gives the most flexibility for ppl to use lists how they want
Currently, I use overlap in this way, but not extensively. (Speaking of which, I feel a bit embarrassed. I am a free user, and I am waiting for the card list feature and the drawing feature to be launched.)ďźOf course, I also expect some specific optimizations for Chinese, but I will mention these in other posts.)
thanks for the visual, that helps a lot . most of these wouldnât snap. The âwhich PATHâ one might though, if the shift-key is held down while dragging (e.g. snap to grid is enabled) then iâll disable card snapping

scrintal has this feature and you can play with it for free at their new product
Gobu.ai
i think their card stacks are really nice
magneitc probably fits the best for kinopio
