Loading a large space after updates in a browser with an older version of the space doesn't restore all cards

This was not 100% reproducible. I loaded the space in Firefox, and it worked. Then an hour later, I reloaded the same space in the same browser, and it was missing a lot of cards (reported details to pirijan).
