From reading this, Dark Mode Automatic Theme Switcher - theme-component - Discourse Meta, it looks like it is supported. You will need to install a dark theme that users can switch to. How about Dark theme for Discourse and 302+ apps — Dracula?

i couldn’t figure out how to get that dracula theme working, but you can now enable a generic dark mode theme for this discourse from your user preferences. make sure both ‘theme’ and ‘color scheme’ match this screenshot
