Right now there is no way to go back and forward in the desktop app. That hampers navigating between spaces within the app 
Even if the typical keyboard shortcuts for doing this were enabled, it would help a lot

there’s also a bit of work I could do to make the title bar on mac look more modern/integrated into the app

It looks like keyboard shortcuts for forward and back were added to the desktop app recently. I had stopped using it for a while due to this, so maybe it’s time to go back
