i’m thinking of going the custom scrolling route that everyone else ends up on. It would fix a lot of mobile issues, probably also android too
aahh! i fell a bit off the kinopio train because of this bug! every time i use it on my computer it desyncs and kind of kicks me out of a good flow. sorry i never managed to help you reproduce it, if you start developing a custom scrolling lmk and i would be super happy to test and report on how it works for me

Hello! Reporting that this bug is basically fixed(!!!) (for me, anyway)
The behaviour I now experience is that when I use the tablet pen to scroll (via its ‘right mouse button’ button or the spacebar), it glides smoothly to a stop… and until this point, the offset is present, and I can tell that it’s present. BUT, once it stops, there is a noticeable positional snap. It’s not perfect, it doesn’t bother me, but I can see that it’s happening.
Once this snap occurs, the offset is gone. HOORAY
I am once more on the kinopio train as a regular user, thank you piri
